Fate of the stump

I was cleaning up the little tray attached to the changing table and came across Wesley's umbilical cord stump. Yes, when it fell off I felt the need to keep it. Not really knowing what to do with this little piece of grossness that connected him to me for 40 weeks, I placed it in the tray that holds the baby wipes. I'm now at a loss as to what to do with the stump, keep it for a disgusting keepsake? Photograph it and toss it? Oh decisions decisions.....
