I thought it only fitting to say what Wesley is up to at his age since I did it with Greta yesterday. Wesley is 27 months old and this is what he's up to:
-Able to say all of his ABC's (and can identify about a third of the letters on sight)
-Can count to 20
-Loves his Hot Wheels
-Still sleeping in his crib, loves his crib...it's his comfort zone.
-Showing signs of wanting to potty train, will tell us when he's about to poo and sometime pee
-Can stack blocks higher than he is.
-LOVES to color with markers and crayons, will do so every night for at least an hour.
-New phrases he loves: "I appreciate that", "okie dokie artichokie", "Bless you Daddy (or whoever sneezes)", points at his diaper and says "there's a lot of pee pee in there"
-He's a hugger
-Loves to be read to, could sit for 5 hours being read to.
-Knows his shapes well
-Starting to finally figure out his colors, still having a hard time with some (possibly color blind?).
-Just learned his last name and loves to tell everyone.
-Enjoys "time out" a little too much.
