Delayed

I just finished canceling Greta's four month well baby appointment that was supposed to be this morning. We were predicted 5-10 inches of snow this morning only to wake up with just a dusting on the ground. That was going to be the reason for canceling. Dang it. The real reason? I can't make it anywhere on time, even to a 10:45 doctors appointment. It takes 25 minutes to wake the kids up and feed them, 15 minutes to wrangle all the little tiny socks and shoes, coats, mittens and hats onto them and load them into the van, 15 minutes to drive over to Jessica's house (because of giant road construction) and drop Wesley off and 45 minutes to drive to the doctors office. It's just not worth it. Especially for a stupid well baby exam. Have I mentioned how I think those things are such a waste of time? All that work for me to take the baby into the germ infested waiting room and have the nurse weigh her, then inject her with only God knows what. Eh, we'll do it next week. Maybe.
